2. Services & Appointments
Booking
Appointments may be scheduled through our website, by phone, by text message, or by email. All bookings are subject to availability. An appointment confirmation does not guarantee a specific arrival time; we will communicate estimated service windows.
Service Location
As a mobile detailing company, we perform services at your preferred location (home, office, or other agreed-upon site). You are responsible for ensuring adequate access to the vehicle, including a suitable work area with reasonable access to water and electrical outlets when required.
Vehicle Condition
You agree to disclose any known pre-existing damage, mechanical issues, or conditions that may affect the detailing process. Gemstar Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing defects including but not limited to paint chips, scratches, clear coat failure, rust, or mechanical problems.
3. Pricing & Payment
All pricing listed on our website is approximate and subject to change based on vehicle size, condition, and scope of work. A final quote will be provided before any service begins.
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and approved digital payment methods.
- Prices listed do not include applicable sales tax unless otherwise stated.
- Custom or add-on services may be quoted separately.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand plans change. We ask that you provide reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule:
- 24-Hour Notice: We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- No-Shows: If we arrive at the scheduled location and the vehicle is unavailable without prior notice, a no-show fee may apply.
- Weather: In the event of inclement weather that prevents safe outdoor detailing, we will work with you to reschedule at no charge.
5. Satisfaction & Warranty
We take pride in our work and stand behind the quality of our services.
- If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion so we can make it right.
- Ceramic coating and paint protection film services include specific warranty terms that will be provided in writing at the time of service.
- Warranties may be voided by improper vehicle care, use of incompatible products, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.
6. Limitation of Liability
Gemstar Detailing exercises the highest standard of care when servicing your vehicle. However:
- We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to weak or failing paint, loose trim, deteriorating seals, or aftermarket modifications.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question.
- We are not liable for personal property left inside the vehicle during service. Please remove all valuables before your appointment.
- In no event shall Gemstar Detailing be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
7. SMS & Text Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile phone number, you may opt in to receive text messages from Gemstar Detailing. By opting in, you agree to the following:
- You consent to receive recurring automated text messages, including appointment reminders, service updates, and promotional offers.
- Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 10 messages per month.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.
Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages unless you re-subscribe.
